Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and common areas, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior according to site protocols. Support opening and closing activities, assist with routine inspections, and maintain accurate incident and activity reports related to daily operations. Minimum Requirements A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred. A state, county, and/or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
