Security Officer Armed Patrol Representative

Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.83 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 02:30 PM - 06:30 PM Thur: 02:30 PM - 06:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a technology‑focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions related to the location. Monitor entry points, credentials, and/or sensitive areas while following post orders and reporting security‑related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Support day‑to‑day operations by maintaining a professional presence, completing required reports, and assisting with security‑related procedures for employees, contractors, and/or guests. Minimum Requirements An armed guard card and/or license is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
