Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.26 / Hour Job Schedule Tue 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM Thu 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel and/or public agencies when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized entry attempts, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders. Support public‑facing operations by assisting with directions, maintaining a visible presence, and following all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal standards for armed posts. Minimum Requirements Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to ride a bike. Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
