Part-Time Bookkeeper

Pay: $19/hour
Hours: 20–30 hours per week
Employment: Part-Time, W-2
Location: In-office

I am looking for a dependable, detail-oriented bookkeeper to join my growing accounting firm. The firm currently consists of just me, so this person will work directly with me and help manage the day-to-day accounting needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Coding bank and credit card transactions
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Payroll processing
• Maintaining organized client records
• Following up on missing information
• Assisting with month-end bookkeeping
• Other routine accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
• Basic understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, and payroll
• QuickBooks Online experience preferred
• Comfortable with Excel and learning new software
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Able to manage work for multiple clients
• Professional and able to maintain confidentiality
