Full-Time Bookkeeper (Accounting)

Our client is seeking a Full-Time Bookkeeper to join their accounting team in Albuquerque, NM. This onsite role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in transactional accounting, enjoys ownership of the day-to-day books, and works well in a deadline-driven environment.

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of daily financial transactions across multiple business units. You’ll work closely with the Controller and accounting team to ensure clean books, reliable reporting, and smooth monthly closes.

Record and manage all consumer revenue transactions (checks and credit cards) in QuickBooks

Accurately enter cash receipts with proper general ledger coding

Process award and payment checks with proper coding and balancing

Support month-end close and financial reporting activities

Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data

Assist with additional accounting and reporting tasks as needed

Some travel throughout the year is required.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance OR 4+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience

Experience with high-volume transactional accounting

Strong understanding of AP, AR, cash receipts, and general ledger activity

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
