Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapeutic strategies tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse populations, including groups, families, couples, and individuals.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, with particular emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Maintain organized and accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create holistic client care plans that address both mental and physical health needs.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay at the forefront of mental health advancements and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on adult clients, with opportunities to work with children and adolescents as well. Our patient population includes individuals facing a variety of challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will have the chance to make a significant impact on their lives through personalized care and support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience, focusing on patient counseling.

• Demonstrated expertise in adult and/or child and adolescent populations.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family, couples, substance use, or trauma therapy is highly valued.

• Experience working in a community health setting or with underserved populations is a plus.
