We are committed to bringing in individuals with new cultural perspectives to assist in creating a more equitable healthcare organization.JOB DETAILSDepartment: Jail Health ServicesFTE: 0.7 (56 hours per pay period)Shift(s): Day/ Evening / Every other WeekendShift Length: 8 hoursRESPONSIBILITIES:Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:Protecting, promoting, and optimizing healthPreventing illness and injuryAlleviating suffering through the treatment of the human responsePartnering with the patient, their family and significant othersDocumenting interventions and an individualized plan of careMinimum Qualifications:Must have 1 year of RN experience on Med/ Surg, Mental Health, Addiction Medicine, TCU or have completed a preceptorship at the jailGraduation from an accredited school of nursingPossession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of MinnesotaPreferred Qualifications:Certification in area of clinical specialtyBSN Preferred.
