Work Environment

You will be working in a modern rehabilitation center equipped with the latest technology and tools necessary for effective physical therapy. Operating hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, promote a healthy work-life balance while ensuring ample time for patient engagement and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients, incorporating detailed medical histories and specific assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, adapting techniques and approaches to fit patients' evolving needs while documenting progress meticulously.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and specialists, to refine patient care plans, recognize significant changes in patient conditions, and assess the necessity for advanced medical interventions.
• Provide exceptional discharge planning services that ensure smooth transitions for patients after therapy, including guidance for follow-up care and continued wellness strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records to inform future treatment, illustrate progress, and meet compliance standards for federal and state regulations.
• Engage in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and remain abreast of best practices and emerging trends in physical therapy.
• Participate in team meetings and facilitate open communications with coworkers, patients, and other stakeholders to foster a culture of trust and respect.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will be directly impacting a diverse patient population primarily comprised of individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and other orthopedic conditions. Your role is crucial in helping patients regain their mobility, strength, and independence through customized rehabilitation programs. Emphasis on patient-centered care ensures that each therapy session aligns with their personal goals and recovery timelines.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in a similar clinical setting is preferred, we strongly encourage recent graduates with relevant internships or clinical rotations to apply. Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitively set at USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, complemented by an attractive benefits package, including:
