Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility is designed with the patient experience in mind, featuring modern equipment and dedicated spaces for individualized treatment. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while immersing yourself in meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized therapy sessions tailored to each patient's unique needs, empowering them to regain mobility and confidence.
• Manage a manageable patient caseload, ensuring each individual receives adequate time and focus for their treatment sessions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop effective treatment plans based on best practices and patient goals.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, systems, and methodologies to enhance patient outcomes and overall rehabilitation experience.
• Promote non-surgical treatment options and motivate patients to embrace lifestyle changes that reduce dependency on medications.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, ensuring comprehensive support throughout each patient's recovery journey.
• Continuously evaluate and document treatment outcomes using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to maintain accurate patient records.
• Stay informed on the latest physical therapy techniques and practices through ongoing professional development and training.
• Encourage a proactive approach to wellness and prevention by designing fitness and wellness programs that cater to diverse patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will predominantly work with a diverse range of outpatient clients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals rehabilitating post-surgery, and patients managing chronic conditions. Your ability to connect with patients from various backgrounds and physical capabilities is critical to fostering trust and encouraging active participation in their recovery.

Qualifications

• Completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Possess a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, without any sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated mastery of several manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically Web PT, for precise documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation will be considered a strong asset.
• Exhibited success in implementing evidence-based physical therapy interventions that result in positive patient outcomes.
• Capability to mentor less experienced staff and support a culture of continuous learning within the practice.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
