Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy care by evaluating each patient's needs, effectively setting and addressing unique goals for their treatment.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure you can dedicate the appropriate amount of time and attention to each patient.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to address injuries and improve patients' physical function.
• Implement cost-effective treatment plans designed to enhance patients' motion and mobility while minimizing the need for surgical intervention.
• Focus on empowering patients by emphasizing non-surgical alternatives and reducing dependence on medications.
• Develop comprehensive care plans employing a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
• Create and adapt fitness and wellness programs to suit the specific rehabilitation requirements of patients.
• Continuously evaluate progress through re-assessments and adapt treatment regimens accordingly.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their recovery journey, facilitating an encouraging and positive experience.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment methodologies accurately using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to contribute to seamless patient management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Med Fit, you will predominantly work with outpatient clientele ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to adults managing chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with a clean history, free of sanctions or board actions.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and an aptitude for designing and executing personalized exercise programs.
• Ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for efficient patient documentation.
• Strong foundational knowledge in current physical therapy techniques, supported by evidence-based research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly in sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience developing and implementing targeted rehabilitation programs for diverse patient populations.
• Fluency in using EMR systems, including but not limited to Web PT, for accurate patient tracking and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The offered salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
