Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized physical therapy care to patients, evaluating their unique conditions and developing tailored treatment plans that effectively meet their goals.
• Maintain a designated patient load that allows for sufficient one-on-one time with each individual, ensuring comprehensive care and optimal outcomes.
• Employ evidence-based techniques and draw from your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, employing manual therapies and exercise prescriptions to improve mobility.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and monitor patient progress, modifying care plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to enhance patient-centered care and treatment effectiveness.
• Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate documentation of treatment plans, patient progress, and outcomes.
• Spend time educating patients on their conditions, reinforcing the importance of non-surgical alternatives, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your role will also include encouraging preventive care measures and implementing wellness programs that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with a flawless record free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and a well-rounded understanding of contemporary physical therapy practices.
• Strong skills in creating effective and engaging exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, especially WebPT, to ensure precise and efficient patient documentation.
• Commitment to continual professional development, staying current with the latest research and advancements in physical therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome candidates with varying levels of experience, prior experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred. An active engagement in community outreach or education initiatives regarding physical therapy and wellness will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
