Work Environment

This onsite position is based in our bustling outpatient office located in the heart of Charlottesville. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and treatment modalities, ensuring our physical therapists have access to the tools necessary to deliver high-quality care. You will work a standard schedule of Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., providing a consistent and stable working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions to devise effective, individualized treatment plans that focus on their recovery goals.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, maintaining a manageable patient load to ensure optimal care and attention.
• Implement evidence-based techniques in orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing methods such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercise tailored to each patient's condition.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey with clear communication and functional progress tracking.
• Develop and manage comprehensive care plans that integrate a variety of physical therapy services, fitness solutions, and wellness strategies.
• Monitor and document patient progress diligently, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and treatment protocols.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and specialists, to provide holistic care for patients.
• Promote health and well-being by advocating non-surgical interventions and lifestyle adaptations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse and includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with patients of all ages, helping them to restore functionality and achieve their rehabilitative goals through tailored, evidence-based treatment. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing their mobility and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong foundation in various manual therapy techniques and settings, demonstrating advanced competency in rehabilitative practices.
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, to maintain up-to-date patient documentation.
• Knowledgeable in the latest research-based physical therapy methodologies and practices.

Preferred Experience

• Prior clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful exercise programs for diverse patient populations.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages progress.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
