Located in a state-of-the-art 5000 square foot sports medicine facility, we pride ourselves on our commitment to evidence-based practice and professional excellence. Our facility is equipped with advanced technologies and resources to ensure that our physical therapists can provide effective, high-quality care. We have a close-knit team consisting of two experienced Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances patient care.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position within our outpatient office located in the vibrant city of Charlottesville, VA. You will be engaged in a supportive workplace where you will have access to abundant resources and collaboration opportunities with other healthcare professionals. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, offering a consistent work-life balance while allowing you to make a significant impact in patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and set personalized treatment goals in alignment with their specific rehabilitation requirements.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure focused and quality treatment.
• Develop comprehensive care plans utilizing a wide array of treatment techniques tailored to each patient's needs.
• Implement cost-effective treatment measures that enhance mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their treatment to inspire confidence and optimal functioning.
• Document all patient care services accurately and in compliance with the facility's protocols and EMR standards.
• Evaluate, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to maximize patient outcomes.
• Participate in collaborative discussions with healthcare teams to ensure holistic care delivery.
• Offer tailored fitness and wellness programs focused on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population mainly consists of individuals with private insurance seeking specialized orthopedic care. By providing evidence-based interventions and personalized support, you will help patients not only regain movement but also promote a healthier lifestyle, positively impacting their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia, with no board actions or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise routines to cater to patients' diverse needs.
• Experience utilizing EMR software, preferably WebPT, ensuring efficient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

While we prioritize candidates with prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care, we also welcome enthusiastic and motivated applicants who demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the field.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
