Work Environment

In this onsite role, you will collaborate closely with fellow physical therapists, occupational therapists, and support staff, ensuring a dynamic and interactive work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, safe, and compassionate physical therapy interventions tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Implement treatment programs for patients based on comprehensive evaluations and established treatment plans created by the attending physical therapist.
• Conduct thorough evaluations that involve a detailed review of medical histories, physical assessments, and the formulation of personalized rehabilitation goals.
• Develop structured discharge plans and monitor follow-up care, ensuring clear documentation of patient progress throughout their treatment journey.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant state, local, and federal regulations by completing mandatory corporate and clinical training programs.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with co-workers, medical professionals, patients, and their families to build trust and foster teamwork.
• Participate in facility meetings and continuous training sessions to enhance professional development and clinical knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve adult and elderly patients with various orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and sports-related injuries. Each patient's care plan will be tailored to their unique medical history and rehabilitation goals. By focusing on evidence-based treatment modalities, you will be instrumental in helping patients regain mobility, strength, and confidence.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as required for practice in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency in the latest physical therapy methodologies, techniques, and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing physical therapist in an outpatient setting.
• Experience working with specific populations, such as the elderly or athletes, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
