Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized therapy strategies.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy for groups, couples, and individuals.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay updated on the latest mental health research and best practices.

• Support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals, facilitating a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC you will become a part of our integrative health team will serve a diverse client population, particularly those facing barriers to accessing mental health care. Our client base includes individuals dealing with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, family and relationship concerns, trauma, and substance abuse. You will be a crucial resource for clients seeking assistance and direction, providing empathetic and effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. A Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, with a strong preference for clinical contexts.

• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and maintain effective relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficient in the use of EMR software and related technologies for documentation and case management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
