Accounts Payable Manager

Overview We’re hiring an Accounts Payable Senior Manager in Alpharetta, GA I’m partnering with a large, growing global manufacturing organization that is building out its shared services center of excellence in Alpharetta. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong Procure-to-Pay / Accounts Payable leader who enjoys transformation, process improvement, systems implementation, and building high-performing teams. This role will lead global AP / P2P operations within a shared services environment and play a key role in an enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA implementation. Work arrangement Hybrid flexibility Compensation $135,000–$150,000 base salary + bonus Job Type Direct hire What makes this opportunity stand out Pre-IPO organization with strong growth momentum Opportunity to help build and scale a shared services Center of Excellence Strong leadership team and high visibility across finance, procurement, and operations Attractive benefits, including strong healthcare, 3 weeks PTO, and 6% 401(k) match Ability to drive automation, process improvement, and global standardization What you’ll be doing Leading end-to-end Accounts Payable and Procure-to-Pay operations Overseeing invoice processing, payment execution, reconciliations, and supplier support Serving as a key operational leader for the SAP S/4HANA implementation Driving automation and continuous improvement through tools such as OCR, RPA, AI, e-invoicing, and workflow optimization Strengthening internal controls, SOX compliance, audit readiness, and governance Partnering closely with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and business leaders Building, mentoring, and developing a high-performing shared services team What we’re looking for 10+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay, or Procurement Operations 5+ years of leadership experience managing regional or global teams Strong shared services, GBS, or center of excellence experience Experience leading ERP implementations, P2P transformations, or large-scale process improvement initiatives Strong understanding of controls, compliance, supplier management, and payment operations Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred Nice to have Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other continuous improvement methodology experience Experience in a large global organization This is a great fit for a strategic AP / P2P leader who wants to step into a high-impact role with the ability to build, improve, modernize, and lead during an exciting stage of growth. #J-18808-Ljbffr
