Schedule

• Full-Time
• 80 hours per two-week pay period
• Varied shifts
• Weekend rotation required
• On-call may be required

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized clinical laboratory testing.
• Operate and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment.
• Analyze specimens accurately and report test results promptly.
• Follow laboratory quality control and quality assurance procedures.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
• Comply with CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, and hospital safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.

Qualifications

Required

• Meet CLIA-88 , Oregon Department of Human Services, CAP, and Joint Commission laboratory personnel requirements.
• Associate of Science degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science (or equivalent qualification meeting CLIA requirements).
• Working knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS/HIS).
• Experience using laboratory analyzers, centrifuges, pipettors, microscopes, and related laboratory equipment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred

• MLT certification (ASCP, NCA, or equivalent, where applicable).
• Experience in a hospital clinical laboratory setting.
