Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and treatment needs.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with their goals, ensuring best practices in therapeutic modalities are applied.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions through evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Monitor and document clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance outcomes and optimize therapeutic effectiveness.

• Work in partnership with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure holistic and integrated care for each client.

• Advocate for the rights and access of clients to necessary mental health services and relevant community resources.

• Uphold strict confidentiality standards and adhere to the ethical guidelines set by state licensing boards and professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse group of clients facing various mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, and life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology, especially in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and foster a therapeutic alliance.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience focused on mood disorders and their evidence-based treatments.

• A proven track record of successfully delivering therapeutic outcomes and improving client well-being.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
