About the Role
The Company is seeking an Enterprise Sales VP for the Public Sector. This role is pivotal in expanding the company's footprint with large public-sector clients through direct sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the direct sales cycles, running RFP-driven pursuits, and keeping abreast of market knowledge to effectively communicate the value proposition. A key aspect of the role is to support the development of new, strategic relationships with public-sector benefits consultants and directors, and to influence the buying decision. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, at least 7 years of deep sales experience with a focus on health benefits, and a strong preference for those with 5+ years of experience selling into public-sector entities. Existing relationships within the public-sector consultant ecosystem and a data literacy that can turn complex datasets into actionable insights are also essential. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in developing processes and executing sales strategies, particularly in the context of large enterprise clients. The candidate should be adept at working with complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and be familiar with public procurement mechanics. A desire to work on a mission with measurable outcomes, and a high level of accountability to results, is a must.
