Work Environment

This position is onsite in our rehabilitation facility, which features modern treatment areas designed for optimal patient comfort and safety. You will work in a collaborative environment alongside other trained professionals, including occupational therapists and rehabilitation specialists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient recovery. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, providing you the opportunity to engage meaningfully with your patients during regular hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patient needs, establish goals, and develop effective treatment strategies.
• Create detailed treatment plans incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities, with a focus on promoting independence and functional mobility.
• Provide targeted physical therapy sessions, maintaining a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure focused, quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver treatments that enhance the range of motion and physical capabilities.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as needed based on ongoing evaluations.
• Foster a motivating atmosphere to encourage patients during their rehabilitation process, helping them achieve their personal health goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop integrated care strategies that address the comprehensive needs of each patient.
• Adhere to established safety protocols while administering therapy and continuously monitor patients' response to treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain disorders. As a physical therapist at Restore Wellness, you will work closely with diverse patients, tailoring interventions to support their unique rehabilitation goals. Your personalized approach will play a critical role in helping each patient regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the design of individualized exercise regimens.
• Experience in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans that consider the latest evidence-based practices.
• Experience collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

Restore Wellness offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
