Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with orthopedic conditions to assess their functional abilities and therapeutic needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that target specific functional limitations and goals, adapting them based on consistent monitoring and assessment of patient progress.
• Administer various therapeutic modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as electrical stimulation or ultrasound to mitigate pain and promote recovery.
• Document treatment sessions meticulously, tracking patient progress in alignment with established medical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engage actively in team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and coordinate care plans, ensuring holistic treatment approaches.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications that support ongoing physical health.
• Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, ensuring that all practices reflect the highest professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapy services predominantly cater to the geriatric population, encompassing patients recovering from post-surgical procedures, joint replacements, fractures, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. You will engage with individuals at different stages of their recovery journey, contributing to their rehabilitation with compassion and expertise.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to create effective rehabilitation plans.
• Excellent communication abilities, fostering positive interactions with patients and interdisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a background in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
