Job Description
We're partnered with an exciting client operating in the neuroscience therapeutic area that is looking to build out its medical organization nationally. They're seeking a Vice President of Medical Affairs to lead the company's overall medical strategy, build and scale the Medical Affairs function, and serve as a key scientific and strategic partner across the organization. This leader will shape medical strategy and execution, establish and deepen relationships with key external experts, guide the field medical organization, and ensure Medical Affairs is aligned with clinical development, regulatory, and commercial priorities.
\n \nWhat You'll Do
\n- \n
- Lead overall Medical Affairs strategy and execution \n
- Build and lead the Medical Affairs and field medical organization \n
- Develop KOL strategy and key external scientific relationships \n
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Commercial, and Regulatory \n
- Translate field and external insights into clinical and evidence-generation priorities \n
- Establish Medical Affairs capabilities, KPIs, and operating plans \n
- Serve as a senior scientific advisor to executive leadership \n
What You Bring
\n- \n
- MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree \n
- 15+ years of Medical Affairs or related biopharma experience \n
- Proven Medical Affairs leadership and team-building experience \n
- Neuroscience/CNS experience strongly preferred \n
- Experience in a pre-commercial or newly launched biotech preferred \n
- Strong KOL relationships and executive presence \n
