Founding Director, Business Development — U.S.

We've long supported leading global brands — including Nike and New Balance — and top-tier manufacturers across their large-scale supply chain operations. Now we're combining that foundation with one of the world's largest mold data systems to redefine how companies detect, manage, and prevent risk across footwear, apparel, healthcare, and consumer goods. We need someone who can bring this value straight to brand-side decision-makers from day one. What you'll own Lead U.S. business development strategy and execution end-to-end — this market is yours. Activate your existing brand-side and supply-chain relationships to open doors with enterprise clients and global brands quickly. Drive the full business development cycle: outreach, pitching, negotiation, and closing. Translate our mold prevention and risk management solutions into clear business value for client decision-makers. Partner with the founding team to sharpen positioning, messaging, and product-market fit. Build and own the U.S. commercial pipeline and revenue base from the ground up. What we're looking for 8+ years in business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of independently closing enterprise deals — we value results and resources over tenure alone. Existing relationships with brand-side or supply-chain decision-makers that you can activate immediately. Background in footwear, apparel, consumer goods, or a related industry strongly preferred. Ability to source, develop, and close new business while leading a market single-handedly. Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging both business and technical stakeholders. Entrepreneurial mindset — at ease with ambiguity and building hands-on. Experience leading a team or owning a regional/market P&L is a plus. Mandarin Chinese proficiency strongly preferred — this role works closely with our Taiwan parent company and Asia supply-chain teams, making it a significant advantage.
