Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and maintain positive, trusting relationships with patients to create an open dialogue conducive to effective therapy.

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, taking into account the individual circumstances and personal histories of your clients.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that address specific patient needs, ensuring they are aligned with evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to address presenting issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and trauma.

• Regularly meet with clients for follow-up sessions, assess progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and responses to therapy.

• Engage in ongoing collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care, providing referrals to specialists as necessary.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges. You will work with individuals experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties, tailoring your therapeutic approach to address the unique needs of each patient. You will also have the opportunity to implement strategies that effectively support clients dealing with addiction and co-occurring disorders, thereby contributing to comprehensive care.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices related to mental health treatment, particularly for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

• Exceptional therapeutic skills exhibiting the ability to motivate and engage clients throughout their therapeutic journey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
