Senior Payroll Specialist

We’re partnering with a highly regarded Am Law firm to identify a Temporary Senior Payroll Specialist to support day-to-day payroll operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional with strong multi-state payroll expertise who enjoys working with complex payroll processes and ensuring compliance. What You’ll Do Process regular and off-cycle payroll with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. Maintain payroll data across HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring the integrity of employee records. Administer payroll-related activities, including PTO, leave of absence, benefits deductions, and tax withholdings. Support multi-state payroll compliance and assist with payroll reporting and audits. Respond to employee and management inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and deductions. Partner with HR, Finance, and other internal teams to support payroll operations and process improvements. Maintain strict confidentiality while delivering exceptional internal client service. What We’re Looking For 4+ years of multi-state payroll experience; global payroll exposure is a plus. Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax withholding, and wage and hour compliance. Experience with payroll systems such as Workday, Ascentis, or WorkForce preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). FPC or CPP certification is a plus. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
