This new initiative bridges advanced wireless networking with real-world industrial applications, targeting high-growth sectors where team communication is essential. We are seeking an Application Engineer to be a foundational member of our North American team. This is a unique opportunity for a technical leader to help launch and scale a transformative communication platform in the enterprise market from the ground up.

Job Summary

The Applications Engineer (AE) at SENA is the hands-on technical expert for our next-generation communication solution in North America. You will work side by side with the Sales team and Channel Partners (Radio Dealers, MSPs, and System Integrators), taking the product into customer sites to demonstrate, install, and validate it in real working conditions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Site Demos & Partner Enablement

• Join sales meetings and customer visits as the technical expert, running live product demos and answering technical questions.
• Lead hands-on Proof of Concept (PoC) installations at customer sites, and document results to validate performance.
• Train channel partners to install the system and handle first-line troubleshooting on their own.

2. Deployment Support & Product Feedback

• Support partners on-site and remotely when issues come up in the field, and stay close to early deployments until they are stable.
• Collect field feedback and feature requests, and share them with R&D to inform the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience installing, testing, or commissioning electronic, wireless, or RF equipment at customer or field sites. Field applications, hardware validation, systems integration, or two-way radio / AV installation backgrounds are all relevant.
• Comfortable working directly with end customers and partners in real-world environments such as warehouses, job sites, and plants.
• Able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and to work closely with Sales, R&D, and partners.
• Self-motivated, with good judgment for spotting problems early.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (initially DFW region), expanding across North America as the business grows.

Preferred (plus) Qualifications

• Experience with wireless communication products such as Wi-Fi, Digital Mobile Radio, Bluetooth, Mesh, or two-way radio systems.
• Experience with RF/electronics test equipment or device-level troubleshooting.
• Experience training or mentoring partner or third-party technicians.
