This position allows for remote work flexibility while being part of a supportive outpatient office team. Our practice operates during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing staff to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments that evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, tailoring your approach based on severity, frequency, and duration.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating their specific needs, goals, and values into the therapeutic process.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring high-quality standards of care.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care techniques, fostering a supportive environment.

• Track and monitor client progress through ongoing assessments and adaptation of treatment approaches as needed, ensuring alignment with therapeutic goals.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals to deliver holistic care and to monitor the effectiveness of integrated treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and professional development activities, keeping abreast of the latest trends and research in mood disorder treatment.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working to destigmatize mood disorders in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists will primarily focus on working with individuals experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients on their path to recovery and enhancing their overall mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Extensive knowledge and expertise in treatment modalities focused on mood disorders including CBT and DBT.
\n
• Understanding of psychopharmacology and a strong capability to collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare teams.

• Demonstrated success in achieving favorable client outcomes in treating mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills with the capability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
