Senior Regulatory Reporting Specialist

Our client, a global investment bank, is seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting professional with strong FR Y-15 expertise to join its regulatory reporting team. This individual will be responsible for the preparation, review, and analysis of the FR Y-15 (Banking Organization Systemic Risk Report), ensuring accuracy and compliance with Federal Reserve reporting instructions and internal controls. Candidates must have 5+ years of Financial and/or Regulatory Reporting experience within a large banking organization or consulting firm, including direct hands-on experience preparing or reviewing the FR Y-15. Responsibilities: Prepare and review the FR Y-15 Banking Organization Systemic Risk Report, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Federal Reserve reporting instructions. Perform detailed analysis and validation of data supporting the FR Y-15, including investigating variances, data discrepancies, and reporting exceptions. Maintain strong controls, reconciliations, supporting documentation, and procedures surrounding the FR Y-15 reporting process. Utilize Axiom for regulatory report production, data validation, and system testing. Monitor data quality and Critical Data Elements (CDEs), perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution of reporting and data issues. Partner with Data Governance, Operations, IT, Treasury, Finance, and other stakeholders to interpret reporting requirements and implement regulatory changes impacting the FR Y-15. Support Internal Audit, Quality Assurance, and Federal Reserve examinations and respond to inquiries related to FR Y-15 reporting. Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, improve data quality, and enhance the overall FR Y-15 reporting process. Requirements: 5+ years of Financial and/or Regulatory Reporting experience within a large banking organization or consulting firm. Direct FR Y-15 preparation and/or review experience required. Strong understanding of FR Y-15 reporting instructions, data requirements, and regulatory controls. Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP. Experience with Axiom preferred. Strong understanding of banking and capital markets products and related financial data. Experience with regulatory reporting controls, reconciliations, data validation, and issue remediation.
