Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Rhode Island
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric PT role preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school staff
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering student growth and access

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to a diverse caseload of 16 students
• Complete thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to support students’ needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to facilitate student participation in school activities
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and adjust interventions as needed
• Advocate for student access and participation in inclusive learning environments

This position features an immediate start and runs through mid June. With 8 hours of service per month (typically 2 hours per week, spread over one day), you’ll have an excellent chance to maintain work/life balance while making meaningful contributions to students’ development.
