Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade with your expertise as a Physical Therapist. This position offers a unique chance to serve a diverse caseload in an educational setting near Pawtucket, RI, working closely with students to enhance their physical capabilities and facilitate their academic success.

Beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 16, this flexible contract role requires a commitment of just 8 hours per month, typically scheduled as one full day each week. You’ll work directly with about 16 students, providing targeted therapy and collaborating with school staff and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Rhode Island
• Experience or interest in working within a school environment, particularly with children in grades K-12
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to tailor therapy plans to suit a variety of student needs and developmental levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to a caseload of K-12 students
• Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Coordinate and consult with teachers, school staff, and families
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations for therapy in school environments
