Empower-Self Physical Therapy, a leading provider of outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation in Stockton, California, is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled full-time Physical Therapist to join our passionate team. We focus predominantly on providing services to individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring that our patients have access to high-quality care as they work towards their rehabilitation goals. Our team is small yet effective, comprising two physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), all of whom are dedicated to creating a supportive and encouraging environment for our patients.

Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our rehabilitation center located in Stockton, California. The work schedule is set for Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a consistent routine that allows for work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Empower-Self Physical Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to clearly identify patients' needs, goals, and treatment requirements.
• Managing a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring that each session is fully dedicated to the individual's progress.
• Developing comprehensive care plans that integrate various treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced rehabilitation techniques.
• Providing cost-effective treatments aimed at improving range of motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Creating personalized fitness and wellness programs that align with the specific recovery goals of each patient.
• Monitoring and documenting treatment outcomes, progress, and adaptations in patient care plans, maintaining clear and accurate records.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management and communication.
• Encouraging and motivating patients throughout their treatment to enhance their functional outcomes and promote active participation in their recovery journey.
• Utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this role.
• A valid California license to practice as a Physical Therapist is essential.
• An unblemished professional record, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience in creating exercise protocols that facilitate recovery.
• Proficient in the use of EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for effective patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

While the primary requirement is a DPT, candidates with direct experience in outpatient orthopedic settings will have a distinct advantage. Your experience in implementing evidence-based practices and your ability to develop patient-specific rehabilitation strategies will greatly contribute to our team's success and the overall quality of care provided.

Compensation and Benefits

Empower-Self Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
