Director of Practice Support

A newly created Director of Practice Support role acting as a key strategic partner to the COO, overseeing core legal support functions across the firm. This individual will drive operational excellence, lead change initiatives, and enhance the effectiveness and structure of practice support teams. Description Oversee and manage the legal practice support team, ensuring optimal performance and productivity. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of legal processes and workflows. Collaborate with attorneys and other departments to identify and address practice support needs. Evaluate and implement legal technology solutions to support case management and document review. Provide leadership and guidance on legal project management best practices. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective solutions. Monitor industry trends and innovations to maintain competitive practice support services. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all practice support functions. Profile A successful candidate should have: A strong background in legal practice support or related areas within the legal industry. Proven leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of legal technology and its applications in practice support. Exceptional organizational and communication skills. A proactive and solution-oriented mindset to address complex challenges. Strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments.
