Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients through virtual consultations.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that consider their unique needs, personal goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mood disorders, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate and support clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies during therapy sessions.

• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed in response to their evolving needs.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated and effective care tailored to each client.

• Stay informed on the latest research related to mood disorders and therapeutic techniques to enhance your clinical practice.

• Maintain accurate client records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health documentation.

• Participate in weekly case consultations and team meetings to share insights and refine best practices in mood disorder treatment.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working towards reducing stigma around mental health and promoting the importance of mental wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT within the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n
