Our core working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility in scheduling may be required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs, strengths, and challenges, setting the foundation for effective treatment plans.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver personalized interventions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, creating community among patients while addressing shared mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care that is cohesive and coordinated.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor, you will engage with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Your tailored interventions will address a wide range of mental health issues, supporting clients in overcoming obstacles to their well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Virginia.

• Thorough knowledge of mental health disorders and competence in delivering evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated expertise in conducting mental health assessments and developing effective treatment plans.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy to diverse populations, with a strong capacity for empathy and understanding.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates who possess at least 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling setting, ideally in outpatient or community mental health environments. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
