Sous Chef

Located in D.C.'s vibrant Penn Quarter neighborhood, the restaurant promises a fun and lively social atmosphere and will feature chef Ramsay's signature, bottomless sourdough pizza - from Classic Margarita to Corn & Chorizo - alongside wings, inventive sides, cocktails, craft beers, and wine. We are seeking an experienced, well-rounded, and hands-on Sous Chef to join our team. We are searching for an energetic, highly motivated person with a passion for hospitality. The Sous Chef Must Have The motivation and leadership skill to represent the Gordon Ramsay Brand and its world class hospitality standards Previous experience as a Sous Chef within a premium casual restaurant Previous experience as a Sous Chef within a quality high volume restaurant A keen eye for detail to ensure delivery of the Street Pizza levels of food quality at all times A proven track record of recruiting, developing, motivating and retaining a high performing kitchen team A strong personality, with confidence and enthusiasm to lead the team in the day to day running of the kitchen Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written – to ensure clear communication with all stakeholders Ability to multitask and effectively manage relationships at all levels Key Accountabilities Be responsible for effective execution of all dishes, whilst ensuring consistent presentation and guest satisfaction in a lively restaurant and bar, interacting with guests and making each visit a memorable one!
