Sales Director - HLS/PayorJob Title: Director / Senior Director – Healthcare Payer (Hunter / New Logo Sales)Role Summary:We are looking for a pure hunter to drive net-new logo acquisition across Healthcare Payers organizations.This role is focused on opening new accounts, creating demand, and closing first deals across digital transformation, data, cloud, and platform modernization initiatives.This is not an account-farming role. Success is measured by new logos, pipeline creation, and first-deal wins.Key Responsibilities:Own net-new logo acquisition across Healthcare Payer organizationsBuild and execute territory and target account plansProspect and engage CXOs (CIO, CDO, CTO, COO, Digital, Operations leaders)Create demand around:Digital transformation programsData, analytics, and platform modernizationDigital front door and customer experience initiativesCall center, operations, and workflow transformationCloud migration, application modernization, and product engineeringDrive opportunities from cold start qualification deal closeShape deals, articulate value, and lead commercial negotiationsPartner closely with industry leadership, pre-sales, and delivery teamsMaintain strong pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracyRequired Experience:10–18+ years in enterprise B2B services salesProven hunter track record in net-new logo acquisitionExperience selling:IT services, digital engineering, or consultingData, cloud, application modernization, or platform programsDemonstrated success closing $2M–$10M+ first dealsStrong understanding of healthcare business workflowsExecutive presence with CXO-level storytelling and negotiation skillsExperience working with global delivery and offshore/nearshore modelsWhat “Good” Looks LikeCreates pipeline from zeroOpens doors where no relationship existsSells value and outcomes, not staff augmentationComfortable with white-space and ambiguityHighly resilient, metrics-driven, and self-directedKPIs & Success MetricsNet-new logos wonQualified pipeline generatedFirst-deal ACVSales cycle velocityWin ratesPreferred (Nice to Have)Existing CXO relationships in Healthcare Payer OrganizationsExperience selling large transformation programsBackground with mid-to-large IT services or consulting firmsStrong collaboration skills in fast-growth environmentsSimilar JobsAlliances PartnerSan Ramon, United StatesClient Partner, HitechSan Ramon, United StatesSr Manager, SalesSan Ramon, United StatesClent Partner - PayerEdison, United States
