Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs, developing tailored treatment plans that align with their unique goals and challenges.

• Provide ongoing therapy sessions in various formats, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.

• Utilize advanced diagnostic skills to identify mental health issues accurately and evaluate treatment progress regularly, adjusting strategies as necessary for optimal outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies to support continuity of care.

• Lead engaging and supportive parent support groups focused on fostering healthy family dynamics and addressing issues of placement and adoption, especially for families affected by substance exposure.

• Continuously monitor client engagement and progress, providing in-house referrals for additional treatment needs when appropriate, ensuring holistic care coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT with Sunshine Psychological Services, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from children and adolescents to adults. Our clients often deal with complex issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. Our therapists are expected to provide culturally sensitive care and apply practices that are inclusive and affirming of diverse backgrounds and experiences. You will be instrumental in creating age-appropriate assessments and interventions that resonate with each client's unique context.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with colleagues.

• Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy and counseling to clients in a clinical setting.

• Experience working with diverse populations, including those experiencing mental health issues related to trauma, attachment, and family dynamics.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or solution-focused brief therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
