Assistant Professor of Medicine Faculty Position, InterventionalCardiology Location: Philadelphia, PA Open Date: Feb 12, 2026 Deadline: Feb 11, 2028 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department ofMedicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University ofPennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor positionin the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is requiredin the specific area of of coronary microvascular disease, invasivecoronary function testing, high-risk PCI, and chronic totalocclusion PCI with specialized training preferred. Applicants musthave an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Board certified orboard eligible in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases andInterventional Cardiology is required. Teaching responsibilities may include training medical students,fellows, and residents. Clinical responsibilities may include performing and interpretinginvasive (non-interventional) cardiac catheterization studies(cardiac catheterization laboratory at the Hospital of theUniversity of Pennsylvania), percutaneous coronary interventions,and attending on the coronary care unit and inpatient consultativeservices. Research or scholarship responsibilities may include publishing inpeer-reviewed literature, seeking and obtaining independentinvestigator-initiated funding for research, and interfacing withdivision clinical research programs in interventionalcardiology. Applicants must have subspecialty training and documented skills inall aspects of diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterizationprocedures, and a track record of substantial academicproductivity.
