Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $60,000 to $70,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Manage daily accounting activities across multiple entities including payables, payroll, and reconciliations. Process invoices and payments while ensuring proper coding, documentation, and timely completion. Reconcile sales activity deposits and financial accounts to maintain accurate records. Prepare monthly financial statements and perform variance analysis against budgets and prior periods. Support close processes, tax filings, and ad‑hoc financial analysis while assisting with administrative tasks. Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. 4+ years of general accounting or bookkeeping experience in a multi‑entity environment. Demonstrate strong understanding of full‑cycle accounting principles and financial processes. Use accounting software and Excel effectively to manage data and reporting requirements. Communicate clearly, manage multiple priorities, and work independently in a fast‑paced setting. Qualifications Maintain high attention to detail and strong organization while handling complex financial data. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including human resources and operations to support business needs. Apply problem‑solving skills to identify issues and recommend solutions for improvement.
