Advanced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Job Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate patient care in a clinical setting. This role supports healthcare delivery by assisting with patient management and clinical tasks tailored to the needs of the practice. Essential Responsibilities: Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk individuals. Provide reassurance, education, and clear guidance to patients. Ensure smooth healthcare service flow during patient visits by accurately completing and updating medical records. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and communicate any abnormal findings to the physician. Support physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management. Facilitate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications, ensuring proper consents and documentation are obtained. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment. Perform laboratory tests and assist with treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate logs and records. Education and Experience Required: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.
