Job Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate patient care in a clinical setting. This role supports healthcare delivery and patient management with flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the practice. Essential Responsibilities: Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide reassurance, education, and clear guidance to patients. Ensure smooth healthcare service flow during patient visits by preparing patients for exams, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and accurately documenting all information in electronic medical records. Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physicals, including applying splints and dressings, managing medication samples, and coordinating referrals and patient testing. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed, while supporting patient understanding of treatment plans and medication usage. Education and Experience Required: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program. Preferred minimum of two years' experience in a Medical Assistant role.
