Job Summary: Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to supporting patient care and clinical operations in a dynamic pediatric setting. This role involves assisting healthcare providers by delivering attentive and efficient patient care, tailored to the needs of the practice at any given time. Essential Responsibilities: Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines. Manage patient interactions including telephone triage, offering reassurance, clear instructions, and education to patients and families. Ensure smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and accurately documenting all information in electronic medical records. Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and sample medication management. Facilitate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment. Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed. Carry out additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations. Education and Experience Required: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program. Work Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm, 40 hours per week.
