Job Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate patient care in a clinical setting. This role supports health care delivery and patient management, adapting daily duties to meet the evolving needs of the practice. Essential Responsibilities: Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk clients. Provide reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients. Ensure smooth healthcare service flow during patient visits by accurately completing and updating medical records. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints. Monitor and communicate abnormal patient conditions to physicians, documenting all findings thoroughly. Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams. Manage sample medications and logs, coordinate patient testing and referrals, and obtain necessary consents for procedures and immunizations. Provide patient education materials and confirm patient understanding of treatment plans and medication usage. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment. Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed. Education and Experience Required: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required. Work Shift: First shift, part-time (approximately 34.5 hours weekly). This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States. MLee Medical Employment
