Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to gather essential information regarding a client's mental health history, presenting issues, and personal background, which will aid in formulating an individualized treatment plan.

• Provide individual counseling to clients using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. Examples include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate couple's therapy sessions aimed at improving communication and resolving conflicts, utilizing specific interventions tailored to the couple’s unique dynamics.

• Work with families to identify systemic issues and enhance familial relationships through family therapy approaches, focusing on improving communication patterns and dynamics.
\n
• Develop personalized treatment plans that clearly outline therapeutic goals, methods, and expected outcomes, regularly updating these as needed based on client progress.

• Provide immediate and effective support to clients in crisis, applying de-escalation techniques and ensuring client safety.

• Maintain meticulous client records, including treatment documentation, progress notes, and any related materials, adhering to privacy regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate with other health professionals, such as physicians, psychiatrists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care is provided to clients, fostering an integrated approach to mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess a valid license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona, with the ability to pass the necessary licensing exams.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
