Lead Software Engineer - iOS (Consumer Banking)

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with at least five years of applied experience
• Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, including experience designing and building iOS applications with SwiftUI
• Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools, with the ability to set standards for validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and security and resiliency expectations; ability to coach engineers on safe, compliant adoption
• Experience with API integration and proficiency in Linux, Mac OS X, GNU tools, and scripting languages
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Foundation, UIKit, CocoaTouch, and Core Data, as well as Swift unit testing frameworks and code coverage tools
• Experience using Xcode tools such as Debug Memory Graph, Debug View Hierarchy, and Instruments for profiling
• Experience with one or more design patterns, such as MVC, MVVM, MVP, or Singleton, and working knowledge of Git or Bitbucket
• Experience creating an application available in Apples App Store
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• Preferred: In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems
• Preferred: Practical cloud-native experience

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions, applying fresh approaches to solve technical challenges
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
• Encourage team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes; establish validation standards and promote effective patterns
• Use software development lifecycle tools, including authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value of automation
• Identify opportunities to eliminate recurring issues or automate their remediation to improve application and system stability
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architecture, technical capabilities, and suitability for existing systems and information architecture
• Contribute as a core technical member of an agile team, delivering technology solutions that support the firms business objectives
