Silicone Extrusion OperatorFull-time Mansfield, TX Exclusive confidential search — details shared with qualified applicants.Become a Key Player as a Silicone Extrusion OperatorYou will operate and set up silicone extrusion equipment to produce conforming hose products and support production throughput. You will work onsite on a first shift schedule (7:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday) with mandatory overtime as needed, reporting to the Value Stream Team Leader and collaborating with maintenance and inspection teams.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamReview the production schedule and plan daily job duties to meet requirementsMill silicone, prep hose, and set up extruders for vertical and horizontal wraps per specificationsCut and send test samples to the lab and measure OD and wall thickness for quality verificationRecord traceability and conformance data and provide reeled products to inspectionMaintain a clean, 5S-compliant work area and follow safety and quality guidelinesMonitor machine sounds and troubleshoot issues; report production problems to the Direct LeadPerform work of equal or lower classification and provide support for continuous operationsBe available for mandatory overtime and flexible scheduling as production requiresHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleHigh School Diploma or GEDPreferably one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing facilityBasic computer skills and ability to use hand toolsMechanical aptitude, strong troubleshooting skills, and attention to detailGood math, reading, writing, and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain continuous mental, visual, and audio attention and physical stamina for extended standing and manual tasksMust pass pre-employment screeningHere's What Else Might Help You OutExperience with Lean Manufacturing and 5S practicesPrior experience monitoring and adjusting extrusion equipmentPay Range$17.60 - $22.00/hourReady to Make Your Mark?Submit your resume to be considered.
