Duration: 6 Months (Temp to Hire)

Summary

Operate silicone extruders and monitor equipment to ensure high product quality and adherence to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Production & Setup: Review production schedules, mill silicone per spec, and set up vertical or horizontal extruders.
• Quality Control: Cut/send test samples to the lab, measure outer diameters and wall thickness, and record tracking data.
• Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean work area using 5S practices, adhere to safety regulations, and report issues to the Direct Lead.

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, basic computer/math skills, and effective communication.
• Physical & Working Conditions: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform frequent lifting/bending, and work in an environment requiring PPE (steel toes, eye/ear protection) and flexible hours for overtime.
