Position Summary

Concourse Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Central Supply Coordinator to join our team. The Central Supply Coordinator is responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels of medical, nursing, and facility supplies while ensuring departments receive the materials needed to provide exceptional resident care. This position plays a vital role in supporting clinical operations and maintaining compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Order, receive, stock, and distribute medical and nursing supplies throughout the facility.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct routine inventory counts.

• Monitor supply levels and reorder products as needed to prevent shortages.

• Ensure proper storage and rotation of supplies according to facility guidelines.

• Distribute supplies to nursing units and other departments in a timely manner.

• Track and document incoming shipments and deliveries.

• Communicate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and product availability.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe storage areas.

• Assist with equipment tracking and maintenance records.

• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.

• Work closely with nursing leadership and department managers to meet supply needs.

• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous experience in central supply, inventory management, healthcare, or a nursing facility preferred.

• Knowledge of medical and nursing supplies is preferred.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to lift and move supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

• Ability to push and pull supply carts.

• Ability to lift, carry, and stock inventory items.
