Benefits Account Manager

Location: New York
Salary: $80,000–$90,000
Remote / Hybrid

A growing employee benefits and HR services organization is seeking an experienced Benefits Account Manager to join its team.

This is a fast-hire opportunity , and the company is prepared to move quickly with the right candidate.

Position Overview

The Benefits Account Manager will manage client and broker relationships and provide exceptional service related to employee benefits, renewals, enrollment, claims, billing, and benefit administration.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of PEO experience , an active Health & Life insurance license , and experience with Prism software.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of employee benefits clients and maintain strong client and broker relationships.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related questions and issues.
• Coordinate renewals, enrollments, benefit changes, and employee communications.
• Work with insurance carriers and vendors to resolve claims, billing, eligibility, and coverage issues.
• Conduct client and employee benefit presentations and meetings.
• Assist with benefit plan administration and ensure accurate and timely processing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PEO experience strongly preferred.
• Active Health & Life insurance license required.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits and group health plans.
• Prism experience preferred.
• Excellent client service and relationship-management skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Candidates from an insurance carrier or brokerage firm will also be considered if they have strong broker relationships and solid employee benefits experience.

Work Arrangement

This position can be fully remote . Candidates who live near a company office may work in a hybrid environment.
