Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students K-12 as a Physical Therapist in a contract role for the upcoming school year. Located near Lusby and Leonardtown, MD, this part-time opening offers the chance to work directly with a diverse caseload, making a true impact on children’s physical development and overall school success.

In this role, you'll collaborate with educators and families, conducting assessments, creating individualized plans, and guiding students as they achieve their mobility and functional goals. The schedule provides 20-25 hours per week, from August 10th, 2026, through June 17th, 2027, allowing flexibility while still engaging deeply with your students and team.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Maryland (MD PT License required)
• Experience or comfort working in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for supporting students with diverse physical needs
• Ability to plan, implement, and monitor customized therapy interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy sessions to K-12 students
• Develop, update, and document treatment plans and progress notes
• Consult with teachers, specialists, and families to integrate therapy with classroom learning
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to developing student goals
• Ensure compliance with all school, state, and federal regulations concerning physical therapy services
